Toyota Land Cruiser 2015 Review

Toyota Land Cruiser is the flagship lineup with the highest price range and most luxury features as compared to other brands. This SUV has unique and rugged body-on frame styling since the common SUVS in the market are coming with lighter construction for more efficient fuel consumption. The carmaker also claimed that Land Cruiser 2014 is one of the most capable off-road SUVs that they ever manufactured. The major upgrades included in this new SUV are subtle interior and exterior adjustment.



Under the hood, Toyota Land Cruiser 2014 is powered by V8 engine with the capacity of 5.7 liters. With this robust engine, Land Cruiser will generate maximum power of 381 hp at 5600 RPM and 401 lb-ft. of peak torque at 3600 RPM. The estimated fuel economy of this off-road SUV is standing at 13 mpg on city driving and 18 mpg on highway driving with the towing capacity of 8200 pounds. This powerful engine is also backed up by i-Force DOHC 32V with Dual-Independent Variable Valve Timing intelligence (VVT-i) and Acoustic Control Induction System (ACIS) that will improve power throughout the RPM range.


The leather-trimmed steering wheel used by Land Cruiser is not only heated but also has easy controls for the sound system, Bluetooth hands-free phone system and multi-information display. Besides, this SUV provides full comfort on its front and rear seat, multi-stage heated at second row along with ventilated front seats. There will be also center console cooler box which can be really helpful for accommodating beverages. The 4-zone automatic climate control is also available to control the inside environments with the assistance of several vents positioned throughout the cabin.


In terms of flexibility features, Land Cruiser comes packed with roomy 8-passenger seating, spacious 81.7 cu. ft. cargo space, practical 12 cup holders and 14 JBL premium speakers. The other standard features included in this SUV are the ambiance of old-world opulence, soft leather trimmed door panels and steering wheel with real-wood adornments. Furthermore, there will be also upgraded and perforated leather trimmed seats with ventilation, chrome-plate air registers, brand new high gloss wood accents and new gauge lighting system.


Towards the safety features and technology, the all new Land Cruiser has been added with 10 airbags, dual-front and front-seat mounted, front and rear side curtain along with front knee airbags. For safer riding experience, the automaker has included stability control, brake force distribution and smart stop brake override technology along with advanced brake assist system.
